The Solid State Chemistry Group of Prof. K. Conder from Paul Scherrer Institute PSI in Villingen, Switzerland, ordered a HKZ floating zone furnace which will be able to perform growth experiments with up to 150 bar atmosphere pressure. 

ScIDre started the setup of a 300 bar HKZ floating zone furnace

Recently, we started the setup of an ultra-high pressure floating zone furnace, suitable to handle pressures of up to 300 bar oxygen or argon within the growth chamber.
